Outdoor Recreation
Besides the well-known West Point Lake, LaGrange's relative isolation from large cities mean there are plenty of paths and trails open for hiking, biking and even horseback riding. One of the biggest sites is F.D. Roosevelt State Park, with 9,000 acres open for virtually any outdoor sport imaginable. A few golf courses ring the town's outer limits, and the lush climate affords an excellent game throughout the season.
